Munched Privacy Policy

Munched ("the App") is developed by ForestView Solutions LLC. This privacy policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the App.

Information You Provide

All dining entries, ratings, photos, and notes you create in Munched are stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account. This data is not transmitted to us or any third party. We do not have access to your dining data.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect and use certain data to serve and personalize ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising Identifier)
• IP address
• General location (derived from IP address)
• App usage and interaction data
• Device information (model, operating system version)

You may opt out of personalized advertising by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt when first opening the app, or by adjusting your privacy settings in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Location Data

The App uses your location only when you use the Discover feature to find nearby restaurants. Location data is sent to Apple Maps to perform the search and is not stored or transmitted to us.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled, your dining data syncs across your devices through your personal Apple iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and iCloud account. We do not store any of your data on our servers. Deleting the App removes local data; iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
